The Library of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering collects books, periodicals and special collections (company catalogues) in the following fields: electronics, telecommunications, radio and television technology, computer science, automation, robotics, electrical metrology, optoelectronics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, high voltage technology, electrical materials science, electrical machines and drives, electrical networks, power plants, etc.
The book collection of the Library is divided into sections corresponding to specific fields of knowledge, e.g: Section IX - Electronics and Telecommunications, Section IIm - Mathematics, Section XI - Computer Science, etc. The right book may quickly be found on the shelf tkanks to the so-called book number 2 from the ALEPH catalogue, because it defines the department to which a given book has been assigned and its number.
